Custom Website Delivery Process

If you order one of our custom website services the process for delivering your website will be as follows:

 

  1. Decide which package best meets your needs and then click ‘Buy Now’. Your Payment will be processed via PayPal and sent to Innta Business Solutions Ltd (YourWordPressExpert.com is a division of Innta Business Solutions). Remember you do not need a PayPal account to order, as PayPal accepts major credit cards.
  2. After the PayPal transaction is complete, you will be sent an email with a link to the client area. Before we can begin work on your site you will need to tell us how you would like your site to look, in terms of layout and colors. Spend some time considering the various options available. You do not need to know exactly what you want when you place your order. Within the client area there is a ‘requirements form’ for you to complete, which includes full guidance and examples of the different options.
  3. Based upon your answers in the ‘requirements form’ (completed in step 2 above), you will be sent a document detailing the scope of work. As part of this scope document there will be a mock up image of your site, so you will have a good idea of what it will look like. You are able to request amendments to this document in order to clarify requirements and can even change your mind completely from the choices you made in step 2. However, we can not proceed to develop your website until the scope of work is agreed. After this point further design changes are at the discretion of YourWordPressExpert.com (and may incur additional costs).
  4. Your custom theme will be created and installed on a development site.
  5. Once the site has been created as defined in the ‘scope of work’  you will be asked to give feedback on the size and placement of text, images etc. E.g. Would you prefer the menu items in a different order? Would you like images moved? Do you want items in the side bar to only appear on selected pages?
  6. While it is preferable to have your content and images ready when development begins, our team are able to use placeholder text and images until you provide the actual ones you want used.
  7. Once the site is finished you will need to sign-off the work, and supply the account details for your web host and inform us of the web address for this new site.
  8. Our developers will then upload the site to your hosting account at the web address you specify.
  9. So that you can feel confident in using your new site you will be given access to 1 hour of WordPress video tutorials to help you familiarise yourself with the most common tasks such as how to log in, adding pages and publishing blog posts.
