• Set you up an account with MailChimp. MailChimp is a free autoresponder service for up to 2,000 subscribers so is an idea choice for newly built websites
• Create a list in MailChimp
• Write a welcome email to your subscribers
• Write a series of 7 short (100-200 word emails) on a topic of your choice e.g. “6 Steps to a Slimmer You”, “6 Ways to Declutter your Home Office” (the 7th email is a bonus)
• Create the MailChimp campaign, to automatically send these “6 Tips” emails.
• Create a MailChimp sign up form for your subscribers
• Insert the MailChimp sign up form in a widget area (usually the sidebar) of your website (WordPress sites only)
